The Reynolds Electronics site is a great resource for micro-controller projects relating to RF and IR remote controls, robotics, more. Bruce has been a long time contributor to the PIC community (you will see his name in a number of PIC forums), and he has a number of very instructive projects including how to create a super long-range infrared transmitter, using the Dallas one-wire devices with a PIC micro-controller, and 8051 based projects. Over the years, I have used the knowlege gained at the web site to solve real-world problems.

The store features products from a number of vendors including Linx Technologies, MeLabs, Crownhill Associates, as well as products engineered by Reynolds. The service has always been first rate. They even worked through a remote control issue with a Linx remote control chipset, creating a customized chipset to address the shortcomings in Linx set.
