Maker Faire Lake County – April 2021

We hope you enjoyed “You TOO can be a citizen scientist!” presented at the Lake County Maker Fair on April 17th, 2021. Here are some resources mentioned in the talk that you may wish to investigate.

Recently there was a Citizen Science meetup for Raspberry Shake users. It shows what  citizen/professional scientist partnerships can achieve. While the Raspberry Shake is primarily designed to be a tool for earthquake reporting, other uses are emerging. A portion of the video discusses how ShakeNet recorded changes in people movement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
